Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas (GSNETX) is a 110-year-old organization committed to building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. GSNETX believes that girls of all backgrounds should have the opportunity to be a Girl Scout and become the leaders of tomorrow, building deep relationships and serving our communities and our world. GSNETX provides a unique leadership experience for girls in grades K-12, with four program pillars: STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math); Life Skills (social-emotional competencies and self-awareness); Outdoor Leadership (experiencing nature and taking action as environmental stewards); and Entrepreneurship (developing key business skills through entrepreneurship opportunities).

Mindful Life Project
Mindful Life Project empowers underserved children, families, and school staff through meditation and mindfulness training to gain self-awareness, confidence, self-regulation, and resilience. They seek to create a foundation of wellbeing at the individual level that leads to a connected school culture where everyone feels safe, welcomed, and valued. They reach more than 15,000 young people in the San Francisco Bay Area with direct service programs that embed mindfulness in classrooms and school systems, leading to improved school climate, reduced disciplinary incidents, and increased quality teaching time.

Enriching Lives Through Music
Enriching Lives through Music provides young people with an immersive music education and resources that inspire and empower them to pursue their dreams. Their tuition-free program serves primarily Latinx children and families who live and attend school in the Canal neighborhood of San Rafael, California, an area of socioeconomic disadvantage in one of the richest counties in the United States. Working with youth from third grade through high school, Enriching Lives through Music provides music lessons and ensemble performance opportunities in tandem with vital social, emotional, and academic supports. Their program also encourages family participation by engaging parents through adult music classes. This holistic approach provides students with opportunities to develop discipline, increased self-esteem, and leadership capabilities.
